| YHD partners hold 6th meeting of regional strategy group |

All five members of the YHD partnership are founding members of the regional Community Development Finance Institution (CDFI) Strategy Group. The Group, which consists of all of the not-for-profit banks (CDFIs) in the region as well as high street banks, Business Link Yorkshire, Yorkshire Forward and the Government Office, has met 6 times over the last 2 years.
The group's purpose is to share information and best practice, consider opportunities for more and better working between CDFIs and their partners, be the voice for and promote the community development finance sector in the region, work in partnership with YF and other relevant stakeholders to help shape and inform future regional approaches to access to finance and advise regional stakeholders on strategic issues relating to the CDF sector in the region.
The 6th meeting of the Strategy Group discussed Yorkshire's plans for implementation of its 3 year Access to Finance Programme. [more here in due course]
